Digital elevation model

Digital elevation model (DEM) data generated from LiDAR data collected in 2013 with coverage up to extents of City of Vancouver’s legal jurisdiction. Resolution of cells is approximately 1 meter.

Data access

This dataset is only available in TIF format, which is not compatible with the map and analyze tools of our new platform. To download the file, click on the link below. As this is a very large file, it may take a few minutes or more.

Coordinate system

The TIF file is projected in UTM Zone 10, NAD83 (CSRS).

Data currency

Data was generated from LiDAR 2013 and is not being updated after creation in 2013.

Data accuracy

This data set reflects approximate elevations in respective collected year.
