Operational oceanographic forecasts for the North Sea

the marine forecasting centre of the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences (RBINS) issues 5-day forecasts of the marine conditions in the North Sea twice a day. These forecasts are used in numerous applications to support the missions and activities of Belgian and foreign public sectors (federal, regional, marine forecasting centres of neighbouring countries, European agencies, etc.); Belgian and foreign private sectors (operators of offshore wind parks, fishing industry, tourism and leisure industries, etc.); and Belgian and foreign scientific research sectors (universities and research centres).
