Register of Councillor Interactions with Developers
Council resolved on 12/08/2024 to establish a public register of Councillor interactions with developers which involved discussion of
development proposals. This acknowledges the need for transparency and integrity of planning and property development decisions and
complements existing processes for declarations of conflicts of interest and gifts. Frankston City Council is one of the first Victorian councils to
establish a public Register of Councillor Interactions with Developers.
Summary details of interactions are recorded in an internal register with limited details published in a public register. Some information may be
redacted from the public register entries to protect personal information and commercial-in-confidence information.
The register will be updated after each quarter in April, July, October and January.
